New Institute for Canon Law for religious women in Dinklage

Two members of the EBCR from Dinklage engage in a new Institute for Canon Law for religious women. 

Sr. Dr. Scholastika Häring lic. iur. can. and Sr. Lydia Schulte-Sutrum stud. lic. iur. can, both from Dinklage engage in a new Institute for Canon Law for religious women. 

Committed to a dignified and equal life for women religious around the globe they dedicate to the important task of applying and improving the canon law for religious orders. In doing so their goal is to break new ground while also staying deeply rooted in the Benedictine tradition.

The focal points of this new project are:

I. providing counsel for women religious

II. strengthening international cooperation and networking

III. researching and developing canon law from a women‘s perspective.
